Hi,
I am Lyndon Wicker with Fish Tales Guide Service.
Kentucky Lake is a BIG lake and if you have never been
here it can be very intimidating. A guide can help you
learn techniques, locations, and how to handle such a
massive body of water.
I have guided since the mid-1990's and have worked the
lake from the dam into Tennessee. I was the first person
to provide regular online fishing reports starting in
December of 1998 on this new thing called "the
internet." Some told me it was a fad that would never
last. Guess they were wrong. I now provide reports
for several sites, have written numerous articles, and
have guest hosted television programs about our
wonderful lakes.
I am a past winner of the prestigious Crappie USA
tournament held on Kentucky Lake. Since then I have
qualified for several regional and classic tournaments
with that fantastic organization. I am a Commonwealth of
Kentucky licensed fishing guide. I also hold a United
States Coast Guard Merchant Marine Officers (Captains)
license. In fact, I was the first person in the United
States to fully complete the course totally online.
(enough tootin' my horn!)
I now concentrate my efforts from Jonathan Creek south
into Tennessee. I work most of the time in the Blood
River area and associated LBL bays. For those of you
familiar with Kentucky Lakes crappie, you likely have
heard of Blood River. It is where crappie tournaments
are won each year. But the lake is full of good
locations and I would like to show you a few.
The recession has been tough on us all so this year I
have added a three hour trip for as low as $125 for two
people and $150 for three. This trip works good for the
early morning or later evening bite. It can also get you
started in the right direction.
No one can guarantee you a live well full but I can
guarantee I will work hard to help you learn the lake
and how to fish for em'. If you would like more
information about booking a trip click on the "trip
info" tab above.
Thanks,
Lyndon
